Fur Ball raises funds and furry friends' spirits

Helping animals in need

The night had glamour, pizzazz and puppies, puppies, puppies.

The Fur Ball is one of the biggest events of the BC SPCA that helps raise essential funds for abused, neglected and abandoned animals in the community.

One of the big highlights of the sold-out event Saturday, was the famous Cuddle Lounge, where patrons got to interact with the animals they’re supporting.

“These puppies have come into care through no fault of their own, but they're going to get a new start with the BC SPCA. And that's what we're here to celebrate,” Adrienne McBride, Senior Director at the BC SPCA, told 103.1 Beach Radio’s Toby Tannas.

Donations to the BC SPCA Kelowna can be made online.
