The fourth annual Holiday Food Drive took place Friday with proceeds supporting the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

The event took place at Save-on-Foods in West Kelowna and Orchard Plaza.

“It’s really important because it’s actually the community that is requiring the help right now,” Tammie Watson, Chief Development Officer, Central Okanagan Food Bank told Kelowna10.

They were taking cash donations and selling pre-packaged food bags for $5 and $10. Kelowna Toyota was tripling cash donations this year.

“For us, community is a big part of what we do at the dealership. We’re looking to be as actively involved, helping support the community in any way we can,” Jeff Roynard, sales manager at Kelowna Toyota said.

Beach Radio was on location to help bring people in and donate.
