Find warmth and unique creations at the Okanagan Hot Chocolate Festival

It's the familiar beverage, but fancier

The third annual annual Okanagan Hot Chocolate Festival is underway bringing together over 20 locations across the Okanagan.

Roach from 104.7 The LIZARD, recently explored two venues.

At Sandrine French Pastry & Chocolates he sampled a crafted Caramel and Espelette Hot Chocolate. It's blended with dark chocolate, caramel, and a subtle touch of Espelette pepper, topped with Chantilly and caramel.

Then he sipped on a Spruce Tip and Orange Hot Chocolate, showcasing milk chocolate infused with spruce tips and crowned with a Kalamansi zest Chantilly, offering a unique and delightful flavor profile.

At Bright Jenny Coffee he was presented with an Orange Hot Chocolate, prepared with in-house orange syrup using real oranges. The finishing touch of candied orange peels added a sweet and tangy twist to this exceptional creation.

To witness these delectable creations come to life, check out the video.

The festival runs until Feb. 26. A full list of participating cafes and flavours can be found here.
