Downtown lights up with the Winter Market

A huge turnout for festive celebration

It was a bustling festive scene in Kelowna's Stuart Park Saturday evening.

Artisan vendors were out selling their wares, and Kelowna locals bundled up to browse and make merry at the annual Winter Market.

Despite the low temperatures, everyone seemed to be in high spirits, enjoying live music, skating on the outdoor rink, and generally socializing.

Vendors were ecstatic at the turnout, and urged the importance of buying local especially during the holiday season which can be a slow time for a lot of local artisans. Also, this is the first downtown winter market since the easing of all restrictions following the pandemic.
