There’s no better way to spend a day in the Okanagan than sipping a cold beer on a sun-soaked patio.

Ryan, from 104.7 The LIZARD, went on a three-patio tour in West Kelowna to sample some beer that matched the special atmosphere.

Local brews have taken off around the Okanagan and it’s no surprise they’re being served up at some of the finest patios in the valley.

At the picturesque lakefront patio at Frind Winery, Ryan sampled a sweet Sunkissed Apricot Wheat Ale.

“It’s local, great quality, and our customers come to us for a great Okanagan experience,” Taylor told Ryan. “Lakesider provides the perfect beer to complement that.”

Next stop was course-side at 19 Okanagan Grill+Bar, where Ally suggested Ryan try something that is fresh, fruit-forward and easy to drink – opting for another Lakesider pour.

“We’re all about creating a great dining experience for our guests and featuring local products. This pint is unlike anything else in the market, and our customers love it,” she said.

The final stop on the tantalizing trio of taste stops was The Landing at The Cove Lakeside Resort.

“The guest dining experience is central to what we do here,” Kelley explained as he enjoyed the Sunburn! Amber Ale. “It is some of the best out there. Their beers are truly craft quality and pair really well with our beautiful lakeside patio.”

So, there you have it. Ryan hit some top-notch patios with some excellent pours that everyone can enjoy and be locally proud of.
