How to start taking back control of your debt
Many Canadians are finding it difficult to cover basic living costs while simultaneously paying their creditors.
And current economic conditions are not making it any easier, leaving people stressed and lost.
But at 4 Pillars Consulting, debt relief specialist Charlie Peet works to empower and assist clients in creating budgets to manage their debt.
“There are no upfront fees,” Peet said. “We offer a free debt assessment and budgeting review, and our primary focus is on budgeting and finding an affordable payment plan for people to pay back to the creditors.”
This can include presenting a modified payment plan to someone’s creditors. This usually results in a reduction in debt with an interest free repayment plan.
“We work with individuals, families, and businesses who are struggling to make their debt payments,” he said. “Typically, people have been juggling their debts for some time before reaching out for help.”
