Cowboy boots are in and here's how to make them work for you

Fall is almost upon us and just like every other season there are some hot fashion trends you need to know about.

This year, it's the cowboy boot. But incorporating this fashion forward footwear into your existing wardrobe can be tricky, especially if you're a city slicker!

Karli Dalton, of Man + Woman, suggests considering your age when it comes to wearing cowboy boots.

In your 20s, just put them on! You can even mix in other trends like biking shorts.

In your 30s, the look can be a little more polished. She suggests boots with denim and a button up shirt. You choose whether to tuck pants into the boot or cuff them over top.

If you are in your 40s or beyond, try the boots with something a tad bit more sophisticated like a sweater dress that hits below the knee.

But of course, fashion always comes down to your own personal style, but with a few tweaks, you can pull off the latest trends at any age.
