Check out the new VIP lounge for Kelowna Rockets games

Local winery goes super smooth at Prospera Place

Forget the blue line, red line, and goal line.

A leading Okanagan winery has just drawn a new line of sophistication under the Kelowna Rockets spectator experience at Prospera Place.

50th Parallel Estate has opened a Club Seat Lounge, an exclusive space for VIP and Club seat holders.

The newly renovated venue is a few steps away from sections 104 and 105.

It features a bar, custom winery décor, and large screen TVs so patrons can keep their eye on the Rockets action as they chill with some white and rosé, or warm up with some red.

“We were invited by Prospera Place after working with them on Rock The Lake, to come and do something interesting, fun and different,” 50th Parallel Estate proprietor Curtis Krouzel told Kelowna10 at the grand opening of the venue. “We’re very excited to share it.”

Proprietor Sheri-Lee Turner-Krouzel said the team is delighted to bring a slice of their winery to the hockey experience.

“We want everything to be inviting,” she said. “We’ve got that sexy mood, we’ve got lighting, we’ve got the gorgeous barrels, we’ve redone the space, the furniture and of course the wines."

GSL Group, which owns and operates Prospera Place, said the partnership with 50th Parallel Estate will further elevate the fan experience at all Rockets games.
