Check out the new design for towers at Prospera Place

Over 450 units are being proposed

New plans have been submitted for a trio of towers set to go up in a parking lot at Prospera Place.

GSL Group, which owns and manages the stadium and the land around it, is behind the project that would fill the entire lot fronting Water Street.

The land along Cawston Avenue, adjacent to Canary Lane, would remain surface parking for the arena.

According to documents recently submitted to City Hall, the towers would stand 13, 22, and 26 floors, all atop a single five-floor podium.

The top of the podium has been designed to include a roof-top outdoor amenity space. The podium would also house several thousand square feet of commercial space.

The project would contain just over 450 suites, split between 75 studio, 209 one-, and 173-two-bedroom units.

Parking to accommodate events at Prospera Place could be included in the final development, according to the planning documents.

There is the possibility of assigning about 95 underground parking stalls on the ground floor of the parkade.

It’s not yet known when the project could come before law makers for approval.
