Check out Kelowna’s hottest party for a good cause

Over three decades of glitz and glam, and helping community

One of Kelowna's premier events, the 32nd annual Innkeeper’s Gala, continued to live up to its high-profile reputation Saturday night at the Hotel Eldorado.

The glamorous affair, organized to support the KGH Foundation with proceeds allocated to cancer care, brought together a crowd of enthusiastic guests. Dressed in their finest, they showcased their impeccable style while enjoying a night of camaraderie, all in the spirit of contributing to a cause.

“Being part of this beautiful Kelowna community, it’s so important to support our local general hospital,” Eldorado Resort general manager Jessica Pearce told Kelowna10. “Cancer care is near and dear to everyone's heart as everyone has been affected by it in one way or another.”

This year introduced a VIP reception with iconic wines, a tented boardwalk and live music.

“Kelowna is known for glitz and glam, and there are some really amazing people that are at this event,” Pearce noted. “It's a night to get dressed up and to really come and have some fun with your friends.”

Over the course of three decades since it began, the gala has raised over $1.2 million for the community. Every year, the event has elevated their efforts, while staying committed to the mission of giving back.

“Innkeepers [Gala] really pulls it off. Their team, their staff, they donate their time, they really put their hard efforts into building something really unique for the community,” said Bettina Muller, KGH Foundation Director of Philanthropy. “It's a great way to kick off the holiday season and also, of course, supportive KGH and the local community.”
