Celebrate recovery with KARIS
Huge uptick in local recovery efforts
KARIS, Kelowna’s successful non-profit organization has just celebrated a special day.
Their third annual Recovery Day, Sept.14, was to celebrate those that have been recovering from addiction and their time of sobriety.
Kelowna10 spoke with Deborah Klassen, Executive Director at KARIS, about how much Recovery Day has changed.
KARIS had four organizations last year, and this year, 13 organizations have joined them.
With the event now taking place at Rowcliffe Park, the KARIS team was very pleased with the involvement of others and are excited for next year's event.
