At 65, Canada's most famous rocker turns deejay
It's a double celebration: Canada's most prolific rocker Bryan Adams is marking his 65th birthday and celebrating 40 years since the release of the hugely successful album Reckless.
To mark the momentous musical milestones he's turning deejay and can be heard on 103.9 Beach Radio in Kelowna and 107.5 Beach Radio in Vernon.
The Bryan Adams Radio Show airs from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday mornings.
"A few of mine, a ton of my favourites, and a few hours spent with some lovers of rock and roll," Adams said as part of the promotional material.
Orbyt Media, which produces the show, announced the Bryan Adams Radio Show will be available to broadcasters across North America.
It starts Saturday January 18.
The syndicated three-hour weekly show is hosted by Adams and features exclusive content, interviews, stories, special guests, and a blend of the greatest music of all time.
In Kelowna, Beach Radio morning show co-host Ara, who also hosts The Retro Vault, is overjoyed about the new program hosted by the biggest name in Canadian rock.
