Come inside Big White’s new $5M reservation facility

While Mother Nature has taken her time in providing the sort of snow amounts we'd all like, you can't say Big White hasn't done its bit to be ready for another winter of fun.

Along Happy Valley Road, a brand new $5.5 million development is now completed and has been offering a new guest experience for those visiting Big White.

The design of the new central reservations facility is both visually stunning and versatile. It acts as the central reservations building for their call center as well, housing 20 to 30 different staff. This multi-functional space hosts meetings, presentations, VIP events, and is the operational center for check-ins and accommodations.

“We're elevating the first impression of the resort as people arrive,” Big White Ski Resort’s Sales Director Andrew Daly told Kelowna10. “It's for out-of-town guests, it's for locals, anyone who is looking to stay multiple days. It's a beautiful place to just come relax. If you've got an afternoon flight, you can come in and relax after a morning of skiing and get changed and have showers and relax.”

Some notable features of the new building include a guest lounge, luggage storage, and a high-end front desk lobby with sex check-in stations.

"This multi-year project is a testament to our dedication to providing an outstanding experience for all our visitors and team members alike,” Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President of Big White Ski Resort said in a press release.
