Ballet Kelowna: Beauty, sacrifice, resilience, and legacy
Four distinct works
Ballet Kelowna's season opening performance: Four Voices, comes to the Kelowna Community Theatre stage November 6 and 7.
The visionary mixed program pays homage to beauty, sacrifice, resilience, and legacy with four distinct works from solo choreographers.
The program features four pieces: one in recognition of Remembrance Day, a work about the resilience of the natural world, an intimate piece for two dancers, and an exhilarating offering of eight dancers moving with high-speed precision.
Watch the video for a taste of the program's opening creation: the return of Simone Orlando's Acts of Remembrance, in recognition of Remembrance Day.
Shows run on Nov 6 at 7:30pm and on Nov 7 at 1:30pm & 7:30pm, with ticket info here.
