Ara takes his beat to the streets

Last big fling of the summer?

It has been a trying and emotional time for everyone the last few weeks.

But even as wildfire remains a threat in our region, Kelowna commerce and tourism leaders are calling on us to support local because the message is emphatically: ‘we’re open for business.’

Ara from 103.1 Beach Radio took his beat box into the downtown and rustled up some support for his weekly musical wrap (rap) of the big stories in the world of news and showbiz.

A special thanks to the UBCO Heat women’s basketballers, and Memphis Blues BBQ House who played along.
