Ara and Toby react to the new Beatles song

The ‘final’ Beatles song features all the fab four

The Beatles have released a new and what is being labelled ‘their last' song, which took some 45 years to be completed.

The track is called “Now and Then”, and features all four of the band members, even though two of them are dead.

The song, released on Nov. 2, forms part of a double A-side single, with a new version of the 1962 hit "Love Me Do" on the reverse side.

“Now and Then” features John Lennon on vocals. They were lifted and restored using AI from a demo tape of an unfinished piece initially recorded in 1977, three years before his death.

Guitar tracks by George Harrison, who died in 2001, have been used from previous abandoned studio sessions.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the two surviving band members, also feature.

Ara and Toby from 103.1 Beach Radio have been playing the new song on the radio.
