Development will bolster quickly densifying corridor
Another nearly 200 apartment units are being proposed as part of a massive redevelopment along Clement Avenue.
According to documents submitted to City Hall, Calgary-based Arlington Street Investments has plans for a 197 unit building on the corner with Ethel Street.
Ten chunks of land – 815 to 865 Clement Avenue – would be consolidated into one to accommodate the six-floor building.
The project will be broken down into 67 bachelor, 36 one-, and 94 two-bedroom suites. Of those, 182 will be apartments, while 15 will be townhomes running along Clement.
Details in the schematics are plans for several rooftop amenities, including a bocce ball court, putting green, and barbeque and dining areas.
The application has circulated around city hall and will soon be sent to lawmakers for consideration.
