Acupuncture isn't woo-woo: Leslie learns more

The needles are almost hair-like

In Kelowna, we're so lucky to have a number of varied health care options, including acupuncture.

Traditional Chinese medicine has been a designated health profession under the Health Professions Act since December 4, 2000.

Leslie from the morning show on OV103.9, has been giving it a try.

As she learns from Fallon Drinkall, a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist, there are a number of health benefits. It's also covered by BC Medical for those receiving income assistance, disability assistance, or hardship assistance.

Drinkall practices at Invati Yoga and Wellness in Kelowna and at Next Athletics and Aesthetics in West Kelowna.
