Duane English has your local weather for February 12
A strengthening upper ridge out in the Pacific will begin to move inland on Monday.
If you are a regular viewer, reader or listener of my forecasts you know that an upper ridge is like a “dome of confidence” above us and helps to stabilize our weather pattern.
We can expect it to be a little breezy as we move out of Sunday’s trough and into Monday’s ridge, but after wet snow mixed with rain in the morning, I’m hopeful for partial clearing by the afternoon with high of around 4C.
A partial clear sky will continue overnight, but our low will drop dow to around -5C.
This upper ridge will help keep us in at least partial sun the better part of the week.
Seasonal Averages: High 1C Low -6C
