A Kelowna institution!
It sure didn't last long.
Local broadcasting stalwart Phil Johnson had been off the air for just a few weeks after earlier reports of his retirement.
That's the last thing in the world he and his legion of radio followers across the Okanagan wanted.
So, Johnson, one of the most trusted voices in the region, is returning to his rightful, almost institutional place, behind the microphone.
He's switching from the AM dial to FM.
After almost 20 years on morning radio, Phil is joining Pattison Media’s @OV103.9, - That '70s Station- where he’ll continue doing what he does best: sparking conversation, telling local stories, and diving into the issues that matter most to our community.
